A bit About the Trainer

Alex Michaelsson is a certified experienced personal trainer and kickboxing instructor based in Limassol, Cyprus. Alex specialises in Kickboxing and Martial Arts as well as General Fitness, Muscle Building and Weight Loss training.

I have been training Kickboxing with Alex for the last 2 years and I have nothing to say other than praise his coaching techniques and his innovative ways of helping you improve. He is an awesome person in addition to being a great coach with whom the one hour of training passes incredibly quickly (other than when he works your cardio and you beg God to end your pain). Whether you are a complete novice who is looking to start your kickboxing journey or simply want to do kickboxing as cardio or you are a well seasoned kickboxer looking to sharpen your skills - Alex is your guy. Most frequent questions and answers

Make sure you hydrate properly throughout the day, and try to avoid heavy meals at least 2 hours before the session.

You can never be too old to train!

The intensity of all training programs is adjusted to accommodate your fitness level, injury status and age.

If you are just attending the fitness classes, all the equipment is provided by us. But, if you are planning to join our kickboxing classes, we would recommend investing in a pair of gloves and shin protectors.

For those interested in sparring sessions, owning your own groin and mouth protectors is a must. 

If needed, we can certainly advise you what equipment you need and where to buy it!

Any prolonged activity you do with enough intensity can be highly beneficial for your fitness journey.

Kickboxing is well-known for giving you a great full body workout. It trains all aspects of fitness such as strength, cardio, balance, muscle endurance, flexibility and agility.

It also reduces stress, boosts energy levels and burns alot of calories!

This is entirely up to you. Some people kickbox simply for the fitness benefits, in which case there is no physical contact.

However, if you would like to compete, you are more than welcome to do so provided you complete at least 6 months of intensive training and have a good understanding of the basics.
